With two AASHTO Accredited laboratories in Paulsboro, NJ and Tampa, FL with binder, sealer, roofing and mixture capabilities, Bituminous Technologies (BT) Labs support Associated Asphalt in its commitment to produce high-quality products with the ability to perform a wide range of PG binder and emulsified asphalt testing. Our labs have state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed with knowledgeable, certified technicians. The labs perform Research and Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and third-party testing for internal and external customers.
Associated Asphalt has dedicated significant resources through the years to develop a state-of-the-art testing laboratory with the latest computer-controlled testing equipment. Our test accuracies rate among the highest in the industry. Bituminous Technologies also helps train and maintain all QA/QC labs at our shipping facilities and interfaces with customers on training and product support needs. Specifications are checked and rechecked for conformance and performance. In addition to internal product testing, services provided by BT Lab include training, formulations, plant support, third-party testing, and more. Outsourcing and third-party testing can be contracted by contacting the lab.
